The Snake Nebula
It's a short story really, my Husband thought, about 3 years ago, that when I retire boredom would kill me, and he was right. So 3 years ago he asked me to pick up brush and paints again and go for it. I am not retired yet ...
I did some sketching in Paris (I am French) met this Australian guy in Paris and thought "wow" nice one. Still think this 45 years later. Anyway, I got brushes and paints out, acrylic was new to me and wonderful. First gallery expo (with other artists) I sold one on opening night!!! So I decided, that's not so bad. Sold a few since, still perplexed about it.
3 months ago I discovered pouring, I thought that could be interesting and not so hard on arthritic hands, so I went for it, had a ton of fun and thought, it is not all about getting cells, and the size of them and blah blah. No, it's an art form that is quite difficult to achieve and can be quite wonderful. So I tried. Got a 1st in a local show in the open section. That's the one I am attaching now. Don't frown on this art, it is difficult but also so much fun.
Excuse my English,
Amities
