Remembering Brian

This is me loose with my Atelier Interactive paints, slow medium, retarder and pallet knife. Doing a little study that Brian Cook was working up to present to students, but unfortunately never got to present.

Love his style. I paint all my studies with acrylic - I am an experienced glazer. If I do a still life I paint it all in sepia then glaze the colours.

I'm still looking for a style but with rocks done by palette knife things that are not there, appear to be there when you stand back, and I think that's kind of cool.
