Home above the clouds

I started painting in October, when I wanted to fill a space on a wall and found I really enjoyed it, so this is painting number 10 I think.

This is based on a photo of mine of the Three Sisters in Katoomba NSW, I only live 5 minutes away from them an thought I should do local landscape.

I love painting skies, mostly sunsets, but still have trouble getting the image from my head to canvas. My painting always turn out different to what I am thinking, but still Ok.

Lots of tips from this website are a huge help.... Do you think you will ever do a workshop in the Blue Mountains Mark?
