Carl Sagan Meets Jackson Pollock

Carl Sagan was the first person to make TV programs on the subject of the UNIVERSE. I watched in awe and was fascinated by the shapes and colours.

Jackson Pollock was the first artist to break away from realism and sometimes worked on enormous abstract paintings. After a while I got the urge to do my own "universe" painting because you can do whatever you want! Freedom!

This is my take on outer space, colourful and with lots happening. I started with a black canvas and added lots of explosions, swirling debris, gasses and stars. I had a blast!
