I started painting years ago in Sydney, and was introduced to acrylics through the old Folk Art (blech!!).
In a former life I worked in superannuation, and apart from doing workshops now and then, which I loved, I didn't have much time to dedicate to painting. But since re-locating from Wollongong, NSW, to Mackay, QLD, I have had time to pick up the brush again big time (thanks for all those job knock backs, universe!).
I am now extremely excited to be working on making art my career. I have always been a bit of a beach bum, so my work is mainly influenced by anything tropical or coastal. I stumbled accross Mark Waller through an episode of 'Colour In Your Life' and fell in love with his work and his whole philosophy on sharing skills and teaching.
I have run a few workshops myself and love it. I have tried watercolour, but acrylics are definitely my thing. Love 'em!
