A Walk At Sunset

I began painting five months ago at age 60. I had been busy with life, but found I had free time on my hands. I started with painting rocks from the garden using craft paints. Friends and family insisted I give canvas a try.

This painting was inspired from a photo I had seen and challenged to paint by a friend (I don't think she had faith I could do it). She liked it so much it now hangs in her home!

I paint daily to gain experience in techniques. So much to learn, so much to do, so much fun!

Wish I had discovered painting years ago!
